SANTA ANA, Calif. – Jan. 16, 2014 – STAjets, a leader in executive charter, , and aircraft sales and acquisition services based at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, Calif., has achieved authorization for Worldwide Charter Operations from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA).

The authorization was granted following completion of an FAA audit of the company’s international operations procedures and a North Atlantic Validation Flight with the FAA on Nov. 21, 2013. Under the authorization, STAjets currently has four aircraft capable of operating across the Atlantic and throughout Europe. Those aircraft include three Bombardier Challengers and one Gulfstream G-IV.

Its new operation at Palm Springs International Airport includes a Challenger 601-3R, Citation Bravo, Pilatus PC-12 NG and Premier 1A. From its headquarters base at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, it operates two Challenger 601-3As, a Gulfstream G-IV, a Nextant 400XT, a King Air 200 and a Pilatus PC-12. Operating out of the Van Nuys Airport is a Pilatus PC-12. In addition, the firm maintains an extensive affiliate fleet at various locations around the country with a wide range of choices for light, mid-size and heavy aircraft from Beechcraft, Bombardier, Cessna, Dessault, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker and Lear to accommodate specific travel plans and itineraries.
